Pre-installation Inspection & Proper Usage of Stainless Steel Sinks
Inspect the sink appearance: free of scratches, dents and deformation, with smooth and flat edges.
Check accessories: complete drain assembly, drain pipe, draining basket, soap dispenser, mounting clips and sealing gaskets.
Confirm dimensions: match the countertop cutout to prevent looseness or water leakage after installation.
Prepare supporting devices: reserve connections for faucet, angle valves, water purifier, garbage disposer and other accessories in advance.
Daily Usage
Turn on the water before placing tableware and cookware to reduce impact damage.
Avoid heavy direct collision with sharp knives, casseroles and cast iron pots.
Cool down hot oil pans and high-temperature tableware before cleaning to prevent discoloration caused by local overheating.
Clean by category: gently wash fruits, vegetables and tableware; wipe excess oil off heavily greasy cookware with paper towels before rinsing.
Do not soak the sink with strong acidic or alkaline detergents for a long time.
Drain Usage
Dispose of food residues into the trash can instead of flushing them directly down the drain. Install a strainer / filter to prevent clogging.
Keep water running while using the garbage disposer to avoid jamming.
